Odysseus Arms was founded in 2011 by Libby Brockhoff and Franklin Tipton. In 2017, the agency was certified by the WBENC as a women-owned business based in San Francisco, CA.
We’re a special and totally weird kind of agency. We believe in the power of empathy and the radical vulnerability it requires to develop it. Our not-so-secret approach is a fearless commitment to developing creative campaigns with the actual people you’re trying to engage (i.e., strangers). While data is a record of where you’ve been—a rearview mirror—it can’t tell you where to go next. Fill a project with real, living people (the actual consumers who are excited about advising, collaborating and refining the work) and leave yourself open to their participation and feedback. The results are consistently stunning.
This is what we believe. We’ve been making work this way for ten years. The minimum impact we typically see for a brand is more than three times better than what it is currently achieving.
