Self wanted to do a TikTok takeover where they’d be the first video 50m people saw when they opened the app. Only one problem: they weren’t on TikTok yet. So as they tested the takeover work, we spun up an in-house TikTok studio where our staff partnered with TikTok creators to create content that felt native to the platform. Two weeks later Self was on the platform and ready for their takeover. They even liked the organic studio content so much that they decided to run them as sponsored content, too.
