Ziploc has gone high fashion in our latest illustration of their “Use as Imagined” motto. Ziploc wanted to break out of food storage and launch their new Accessory Bags. We discovered that women carry 67 items on average in their purses – making it the perfect place for some accessory organization. So we partnered with well-known fashion designer and previous winner on Project Runway, Christian Siriano, to design a purse by asking friends to dump out their purses and attaching the junk to a Ziploc bag. We called this eye-catching bag the Ziploc Clutter Couture Bag, and it made its debut at New York Fashion Week at the hands of Rachel Bilson during Christian’s opening show. Media outlets and social feeds exploded with images of our purse front row. Following the debut, we tapped the biggest communities in fashion, revealing behind-the-scenes footage on Christian’s social channels. Every two days, his followers were served a unique piece of serialized content that revealed how this bag was made and how they could bid on it. The results: over 1 billion earned impressions by Fashion Week’s final show.
