It’s the reason we get out of bed in the morning, and it’s how we help brands carve out their places in the world. Chairman & CEO, McCann
Chris was named Chairman & CEO of McCann in 2021. He is focused on leading the advertising network, working with Harjot Singh, the Global Chief Strategy Officer of McCann. Chris has 15+ years of experience working at McCann. Chris previously served as Global President, Advertising & Allied Agencies, a role he assumed in 2018. He was named President of McCann Worldgroup North America in 2017 after serving as President of McCann North America and, previous to that, President of McCann New York, which he led to expanded organic growth, added significant new business and was honored as a 2016 Ad Age Creativity Innovator Standout. In 2019, McCann was named the Most Creatively Effective Agency Network in the U.S. by the Effie Awards. In addition, McCann was named to Advertising Age’s “A-List” for the fifth consecutive year and was recognized as one of Fast Company’s Most Innovative Agencies. Additionally, McCann New York topped the WARC Creative 100 Ranking as the #1 most creative individual agency globally and was named by the Clios as the 2019 Agency of the Year. Earlier, as Chief Executive of McCann London for six years, he led that agency to considerable success in new business, major creative awards and being named one of London’s three best agencies by Campaign magazine. McCann London was also a key member of the McCann Worldgroup team that handled the successful and high-profile marketing program for the London 2012 Olympics. A veteran of the London advertising industry for over 20 years, Chris previously held top posts at other prominent London agencies and was an active member of the IPA council. In addition to driving business results for the agencies he has led, Chris has a track record of developing effective and lauded communications in virtually every marketing category and for many of the world’s most famous brands. Chris serves as Vice Chairman of The Advertising Educational Foundation, with special responsibility for the development of Talent initiatives. -
